Caroline Henry is a multidisciplinary artist whose work synthesizes classical visual arts with profound spiritual exploration. Born and raised on the central coast of California, she holds a Bachelor’s degree in Visual and Public Arts from California State University Monterey Bay, where she graduated with the Award of Distinction in 2018—an honor awarded to the outstanding graduate of the art major’s graduating class. Most recently her achievements include having viral videos on social media platforms Instagram and TikTok, showing her artistic process of creating sacred geometry mandalas.
Henry’s work is recognized for its vibrant presence both online and in physical galleries. Her process of creating sacred geometry mandalas with natural objects like plants and crystals has captivated a large audience through viral social media platforms, resulting in complementary video and photographic art pieces. Her visual art has been featured in exhibitions across California, including a notable three month solo exhibition at Di Pietro Todd in San Francisco. She has been profiled in the Monterey County Weekly and her meditative candle creations have been highlighted by the Esalen Institute of human potential.
Parallel to her artistic training, Henry has dedicated herself to the study of sacred traditions, completing an apprenticeship in the School of the Sacred Wild and certifying as a Tarot Reader. This scholarly pursuit of metaphysical healing directly informs her artistic vision. Her most recent collection features large scale, surreal multimedia depictions of goddess archetypes, constructed with a multitude of textures from repurposed items, her photographs, acrylic paint, real crystals embedded into the pieces. This series extends into a multi sensory experience through accompanying ritual candles, inviting engagement through scent, color frequency meditations, and crystal healing. This series of 7 artworks are each accompanied by their own candle, housed in a box that Caroline has designed with fragments of the original art piece. Each candle radiates the color frequency from each artwork, is topped with the crystals seen in the art piece, and even comes with a written ritual pamphlet by Caroline, discussing meditation practices, color healing, and practices to dive deeper into the energies of each goddess archetype.
Ultimately, Caroline Henry’s work seeks to illuminate the common spiritual threads connecting humanity. Through sacred geometry, symbolic narrative, archetype exploration, she creates portals to mystical, dreamlike worlds that inspire healing, introspection, and a sense of unity.
